Good question. Most people think that "space" is finite...but always growing. Of course, you might end back where you started from...much like you would if you walked around the Eart. What types of things might we study to help answer your question?
We could study the movement of other planets and galaxies, the positions of them, and study what we can see from one side of the planet versus the other side of the planet at the same time to see if we see anything similar that would prove my own little theory.
